Taclaco's LIFE Report: May 17, 2026
A collector in the US pulled the Asia continent holo from a Mammals Special Edition booster box this month.

There's only one of these cards within 20,000 booster boxes in the print run. Crazy pull!
Where Prices Have Settled
A month into release, extended arts, rares, and continent cards are all trading in the sub-$4 range. That's consistent with what I said in April: this is a player's set built for accessibility, and the market is pricing it accordingly. I think it's a step in the right direction to grow the TCG.
If you're building a complete set, now is a reasonable time to fill gaps on singles. Prices are stable and supply is readily available.
Core Set 3: Still Waiting
We haven't heard anything from LIFE this month on Core Set 3. The last we heard, it went to print at the end of March with a summer release target, and that's still all we know. No teasers, no Discord comments, nothing worth reporting.
The Birds Special Edition is still being finalized for later in 2026 as well. I'll share details when they come out.
New LIFE TCG Reference Guide
I've been building a LIFE TCG reference blog on the Taclaco site, and the first article is live: What is LIFE TCG? It's a good starting point for newer collectors and intended to be a higher level overview of the basics.
More articles are coming covering card anatomy, rarities, and individual set breakdowns. I'll have more up by next month.
